Baby Powder
Our baby powder is cornstarch and talc free. Cornstarch is found in many 'natural' baby powder blends. Although cornstarch in and of itself is not typically harmful it does encourage the growth of yeast, thereby encouraging yeast infections in the diaper area. Talc is powdered soapstone and a frequent filler in mainstream brand baby and body powders. Some sources of talc have shown to be contamination with asbestos, which has been shown to cause cancer in the lungs, larynx, esophagus, stomach, intestines, heart, and rectum. That's why you won't find them in our products. We use powdered arrowroot and an absorbant powdered mineral clay called kaolin. When buying be sure to select which version, aromatherapy or unscented, from the pull down menu below.

and guess what?
It's best not to overwhelm your new baby with fragrances. Some experts advise waiting for at least 3 months, while others advise waiting for 18 months. To minimize baby's exposure to excess scents start with the unscented and later on move to the aromatherapy version to take advantage of the theraputic values of the oils to relax, calm, and heal when they are a little older.
