Answer The Call…
Amanda and Jason opened Salty Siren in 2018 with an idea: to offer something brighter, friendlier, and all-around different.
According to Amanda, “The beach is our happy place and we wanted to share that happiness with our clients. We also wanted to create an environment that’s welcoming and safe for everyone. At Salty Siren, we strive to provide our clients with the best quality work and help them find the perfect artist for their next – or first – piece. We understand that each client's journey is unique, and we feel privileged to be a part of it. Our goal is to build trust with our clients and provide them with an exceptional experience.”
Salty Siren Owners
Jason and Amanda Barron
As the inspiration behind Salty Siren, Amanda moved to Washington at the age of five and always dreamed of owning a business in the Downtown Washington community that included her love of the arts. With the opening of the Salty Siren in Historic Downtown Washington at 225 Elm Street, Amanda’s dream came true and then continued to grow with the addition of a location in Union Missouri, and more recently with the main Washington location at 1381 High Street.
Jason, a St. Louis native, started his tattoo career in 1993. Since then, he has had the privilege of meeting, apprenticing with, and working with many of the legends in the tattoo industry. In 2005, after meeting his now-wife Amanda, Jason made the move to Washington and joined Amanda in her dream of opening a downtown business.
Jason and Amanda are proud parents to five, smart and talented children, as well as two grandchildren.
